This is in quality. A process chain was running and failed at an infopackage step. The other local chains ran for other 2 info packages successfully.
Now, the main meta chain was modified by removing the last step in it, another local chain.
It is now activated. But there is no previous log view anymore, so that I can repeat the IP at failed step.
Should I simply re-run the chain or are there any issues now? Some targets got the previous delta and some didn't

I have a new requirement from my client. It is to unload a material from a delivery - this replicates LT0G T-code in WM. If the material has been loaded to a delivery to be shipped and business decides that material is rejected and the material cannot be shipped it needs to be unloaded from delivery.
We are developing a New RF program for this requirement. problem is that in LT0G ( removal of stock from outbound delivery ) when we select Putaway in Back ground system automatically searches for a Storage bin / storage type. But when we process thro foreground we can enter those details manually.
Now i need to know whether there is any BAPI or Function module that can be added to our program, so that system can directly pick the Storage bin / storage type in background. After that the stock can be returned from that delivery.

I am preparing a workshop and got a virtual infrastructure, which contains a SAP HANA database Rev. 60 and a Windows Terminal Server with HANA Studio Rev. 60. I already made data imports and data provisioning via Data Services and ODBC - worked very well.
Now I wanted to create a repository workspace. First I get the error on screenshot 002.png and if I click on the link "Repository Access" I get the error on screenshot 003.png.
I assume, that I have not enough privileges to the local folders to create the repository workspace. Obviously the "regi" entry needs to be written on a local file (probable ...\user\hdbstudio\...regi....
Can I change this entry (on screenshot 003.png) without getting other problems?

Received a complaint from the DB folks regarding the large size of the tables.
When verified, got to know that PSA and changelog deletion not happening even though the process chain executes time to time.
We are on BW 7.3 and DB6. Note 1385479 is implemented as well.

I read the instruction I downloaded from market. I also read it on internet. Both of sites say I have to run SAPinst to install related products before I move to next step, which install entire product, Solution Manager 7.1. However, I didn't see this executable file. I am wondering where I can find it and then install it. I had already followed the steps I found on internet, but I didn't discover it in DVD even the file I downloaded from SAP market.
So, how do I install SAPinst? Or how do I install Solution Manager 7.1 without SAPinst?

I have a query with regard to PA41. When we are changing the start or end date for a retiree then why doesnt the repective infotypes associated with the retiree pop up. This pop works well with separation action. How can we have the same functionality with the retirement action.
I have gone through few threads in SCN (1920465) however it did not resolve my issue.

I have an interesting issue with the My Reports section of Talent Hub for Managers. Whenever I expand a position to see it's successors, if any of the assigned successors are holding positions that also have assigned successors, they show up as children for the Assigned successor. This repeats ad infinitum:
I have modified the way that the SAPMyIndirectReportsDataElement functions, but not the SAPPositionSuccessorDataElement, which is where I think the problem is coming in. Any ideas?

I was trying to delete 2 dc from development configuration.
I created a new DTR Client, and deleted the projects.
First project was deleted but I'm having trouble with the second one.
The project was deleted from DEV/inactive but still available in DEV/active.
When I try to delete it, an activity is created but when activating it I'm getting an error:
FAILED: Precondition integrate-of-version-sets-not-allowed check failed. default at 18:53:46.118
I also tried to delete it by using dtrconsole.
I can see the dc by using 'ldc' but when I try to delete it I'm getting the error:
Error: Error while executing command. Cause: Cannot find DC '---/---' in compartment '---/---' of development configuration '---/---' (---/--- are placeholders).
I don't have any problems deleting other DCs.
So, how can I delete the DC?
J2EE version is 7.31 SP7.

We have a BO PRD server which has got SP2 + Patch 15 installed on it. The PRD server is not in sync with the DEV server which has got BO SP5 + Patch 7 installed on it. During testing on DEV we encountered some issues which we have raised with SAP for fixes. As a result we have decided to put the PRD server upgrade on hold until those issues are fully fixed.
Before we do a full upgrade on PRD we decided to test the upgrade on an identical environment. Since we did not have a TST environment we decided clone our PRD server and name that as TST and do all installation on this virtual machine. TST server has a different name and IP address in comparison with PRD.
To separate TST from PRD I created a new SIA node under CCM and then deleted the old one. The CMS and Audit Databases are copies of PRD, but on different server with different names.
After separation the TST server was fine with all the servers running fine in CMC. There was no impact on PRD. After that I installed SP4 (inc. FP03) on the TST server along with its patch 15.
I did a reboot after the install and checked whether I could get into CMC. Had no problems. However when I tried to logon to BI Launchpad it gave HTTP 500 error.
Apparently after that all our reports in PRD started throwing "(Error: RWI 00200) (Error: INF)" errors while opening the document. When I rolled back the changes in TST server with the snapshot of the server all the reports in PRD started working fine.
The different config files in TST still have names of the PRD server. I wonder what sort of linkage is there between TST and PRD which caused this problem. ALL the servers are on Windows 2008R2.
Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this issue? I am new to BO , hence any feedback will be appreciated. Thanks

I am currently working on a SAP HANA side car scenario. I have a Z report which needs to be read from SAP HANA database. I followed the following steps to identify the tables.
1. With the T-sode i identified the main program associated to the T-Code.
2. In SE80 selected the main program and identified the core tables, also identified the dependant tables
3. Replicated the tables to SAP HANA
4. Created the XML and loaded in SE38 to activate the scenario for SWT2DB
However when i run the trace in ST05 i still see that the tables are being read from SAP ECC. When i further analyse i see that there are certain function modules (SAP standard and Custom) within the main program specified in XML are being called.
Can you please tell me how do i handle such kind of scenarios for 100% read from SAP HANA and for faster reporting performance.

my customer has the requirement to have an attachment sent in the RFX Award. I have extended class 5006 and also updated the IDC; but the document is not sent in the XML. The RFX Attachments that are on RFX Level are not sent either.
I am beginning to think that attachments are not sent at all; has anyone ever managed to get this to work? If so, how?

I have a few questions about SAP Fiori, I hope you can help me:
1. It's a collection of apps accessed through the browser? Or you really install an App in your mobile device?
2. If it's the second option, the UI is stored in the app or the app is just presenting the HTML5 code stored in SAP Gateway? Well the purpose of this question is just to know where is the code maintained/adapted.
3. Is it possible to run Fiori through SMP? How?
